2nd Annual Canton Chili Cook Off

Hatch Chile Party  
Sun, Sep 12 – On Sept. 12, Taqueria del Sol’s Howell Mill location will host a block-party celebration spilling into the parking lot under tents, including various food stations, drinks and live music from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. For only $12.00, patrons can enjoy all the food they can eat. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Ossabaw Island Foundation.

California Nouveau Dinner in the North Georgia Mountains  
Sat, Sep 18 – Join us at the Beechwood Inn for some Nouveau Cuisine from California matched to wines from around the world. We feature produce that is all locally grown in Habersham or Rabun Counties. Guests will be treated to a multi-course gourmet meal with each course paired to wonderful wine. Inman Park Restaurant Week  
Mon, Sep 20 – Inman Park Restaurant Week begins September 20th. Thirteen restaurants that are included are: The Albert, Fritti, The North Highland Pub, Kevin Rathbun Steak, Krog Bar, Parish, Park’s Edge, Pure Taqueria, Rathbun’s, Sauce, Shaun’s, Sotto Sotto and Wisteria.
Farm to Table Film and Panel Discussion  
Thu, Sep 23 – The Friends School of Atlanta will be screening a kid-friendly documentary called “What’s on Your Plate?” followed by a panel discussion of the Farm to Table Movement in Atlanta. The event is free and open to the public.
Rockdale County Fair
